The EP tells the story of traveling through oriental music and aboriginal culture, before heading back to Marseille where Alaix fused his journey. Changes in atmosphere between the tracks represent a person’s ability to adapt to new situations to unknown places. This is a mantra for the Divine Mother embodied so fully in Amma- Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi. The first time I went to see Amma I was a bit weary of gurus.  When I came within 50 meters of her I started crying uncontrollably, taken over completely by her forcefield of LOVE.  I had never been around a being so pure.  

Although I have not spent much time in her physical presence, I feel she is always with me.  Sometimes she comes to me and gives me transmissions.  One of the most powerful ones was when she came to show me how to draw upon the endless wellspring of shakti while I was on the dance floor at Beloved festival.  Once again, I was crying uncontrollably and my entire body was vibrating, shaking...it felt as if I had just been struck by lightening! 

She shows us how to live a life of service and that it is possible to give that powerful transmission of the presence of the divine mother to everyone we come into contact with simply by drawing upon the endless wellspring of shakti... Filling our cups until they are overflowing and can effortlessly take care of everything we need to in our lives. 

I pray to be as generous as Amma with my love!  Thank you Amma for being such an inspiration, a true guru, I am forever grateful!

My rough translation of this mantra is - calling upon the Divine Mother in all of her fullness, Goddess of the Universe, who nourishes us with the primal creative force of the universe!

One of the songs we use to honor the great mother vine of the rainforest. Thank you great spirit mother for so much love and teachings.  We first received this icaro from our Maestra Ema’a, for us she brought this spirit into our universe.  We would also like to thank Don José Campos for his creation of bringing this icaro into the world.

The text is a mixture of Quechua, Spanish and Portuguese and our personal poetic freedom to have the words display the right sound needed for the atmosphere (spirit) of this icaro.

for ancient icaros it s difficult to find an owner of a song. let s say each generation gets the info from the cosmos and downloads the frequency again.  we ve learned this song from our Maestra Ema Drolma Mata who gave us the permission of spreading it again. we would like to excuse ourselves if we have missed out on other owners if this icaro. we would like to thank also Don José Campos for his inspiration. his version of this icaro came to our ears a bit later.

Deep gratitude & Love

Maywa is a singer, composer, voice and embodiment coach, as well as a DJ and Music Producer. She creates original themes inspired by the magic of nature that we are. In service to the frequencies of love, she channels the lyrics for her medicine songs where she gives a voice to the different worlds, elementals, plants, and spirits. Her art leads the listener to connect with their own inner world and their most intimate and vulnerable aspects and emotions. Maywa's voice & sonic creations feel like a prayer & sound alchemy that through simplicity and purity, unify the hearts of humanity.

She spent more than 10 years travelling and living in Africa, South America and Central America (México, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Chile, Peru, Colombia). She lived several years in the jungle and started to write her own medicine songs. She deepened her connection to the plants and spirit world as she was guided to remember her gift. Also she savoured 2 years with indigenous women and grandmothers of the Shipibo tradition of Peru.
