Dirty Epic welcomes aboard @motiv_a for its fifty eighth episode of Amplify Series.

Magdalena K., known by her moniker motiv-a, is an NYC-based DJ and producer. Since 2009, she has been working in visual art, sound, and live performance, appearing in clubs such as Bossa Nova Civic Club, Trans-Pecos, and Elsewhere, as well as Berlin's Ohm, Säule, and Tresor. She has also been a part of the sonic alchemy of event series such as VSSL in Los Angeles, Lost Souls Enterprises, and Synthicide in NY.

Inspired by esoteric human ritualistic practices and transgressive musick, her live hardware electronics and DJ sets summon forth a collection of weird electronics from transcendent darkwave, hypnotic techno and new beat, electronic body music rhythms, experimental noise and punk, to dystopian industrial and dark ambient.

Celebrating the 200th episode of the Suburban Mix Series with a mesmerizing 3-hour recording of Maedon's latest 6-hour closing set at Tresor during friday’s 17th February Klubnacht.

Berlin-based DJ and Tresor resident Maedon will take you on a journey with some mind meltin techno showcasing her unparalleled mixing skills which ignited the smooky dancefloor of berlin's legendary tresor.

Maedon's upcoming launch of Rant & Rave Records promises to unleash her fierce passion for music onto the world. Her latest LP on the legendary Sonic Groove, "Now I AM Become Death," is already causing a stir in the techno community with its hard-hitting beats and irresistible electronics.

Starting her journey in the gritty streets of Baltimore, Maedon's experiences have led her through the urban soundscapes of Brooklyn and ultimately to the techno capital of the world, Berlin. Her sound is a reflection of her life's journey, absorbing the influences of the industrial scene and transforming them into her own unique and mystical creations.

Brutal Spirit returns with its fourth chapter – delivered by label boss The Sixth Sense. Eight relentless strikes of oldschool Schranz. A ritual carved in steel, rising from 139 into 160 BPM, each step heavier, darker, more unyielding. This is not sound for the surface. It’s a descent into the forgotten chambers of the underground, where no compromise exists and no trend survives.

This EP is a weapon, a relic, a reminder. It belongs to the ones who still carry the hidden flame, who never surrendered to the shallow circus of the scene. For those who know: the spirit was never lost – it was waiting in the shadows.

Maze DK (she/her) is a queer Polish DJ and producer based in Berlin. Her musical upbringing is rooted in EBM, industrial and underground punk, which heavily influences the type of techno she plays – her powerful and relentless music lifts the industrial sounds of broken machinery with an acid sprinkle on top. In her sets, she takes her listeners through dark and energetic dance rituals plunging them into a raving state of consciousness.

Maze DK has played both in and outside of Berlin in clubs as well as soli parties and underground raves for events like GEGEN at KitKat Club, Enigma at Tresor, Club Ost or Mensch Meier among others.
