Philipp comes from a part of Germany, where it´s not very popular to be a producer or DJ of weird, experimental Minimal House- and Techno music: Hamburg City. The big and beautiful „town of the wind“ deep in the north of Germany, whose subculture has sadly almost been destroyed completely by conservative political decisions during the last 20 years.
Born here in the early 70s into a family with intense leanings to ART and music, it was easy to foresee, that his life was up from the beginning unalterably dedicated to SOUND, and the INCREASEMENT of the hearing CONSCIOUSNESS.
 
Looking back on a COLORFUL and well-protected childhood, it was always clear to him, that his life will be about all the music of an extremely wide range of genres, always trying to leave an ear and his mind open for any kind of special, innovative sound, that he could get his hands on (and his heart in).
 
During his blooming youth that was mostly spent in the numerous booths, garages and studios of Hamburg, he kept on processing with the countless underground-band projects he was part of, mainly as a lead singer and bass player. 
Under the early influence of 80´s Eastcoast Hip Hop, MOTOWN Funk, the all surrounding presence of JAZZ, Industrial scapes, Grind- and Hardcore or Death Metal, that were indelibly competing with Classic Music, 12 years of strict piano-lessons, or passionately singing complex works by classical composers as a member of the church choir he was part of for decades.
 
Growing up in all these diverse musical universes, Philipp understood early, that there´s fantastic music coming from literally everywhere - every culture, every scene, every genre - and that life is way too short to miss out on any of that sound.
 
So In the beginning of the 90s, as a very young man, he accidentally slipped into electronic music by attending some of the super cool and secret Acid parties of the early 90s Goa- and traveller scene. Being deeply impressed by this vivid, yet very mystical, exotic and international movement, it didn´t take long for him to become part of the scene. He stumbled into a highly successfull international carreer as a Goa-Trance DJ, was touring the world for many years, playing gigs on the wildest Festivals and Parties in Goa, Japan, USA or Australia. Around 1998 he founded his own record company, the notorious, highly modern and progressive label PLASTIK PARK RECORDS. Plastik Park sold a lot of records all over the world for many years, helping to make a big bunch of young international and very talented musicians from the Trance scene a little more famous. 

In 1999 he took note of the music of Ricardo Villalobos at a Warehouse party in Zurich, which intensively drove him to start evolving into more complex kinds of electronic productions. By the year 2001 - thanks to great labels like Perlon Records or Playhouse Music - it was about time for him to devote completely and actively to the DEEPER and more experimental variations of club music. A short visit at the SAE-Institute in 2005 helped making the decision to start producing music on his own. Since then he is steadily evolving sonic methods to express his intense thoughts and feelings about this complex, ever changing and whatsoever beautiful wonder called LIFE. 
		
Philipp´s tracks and remixes got released on great labels like Igloo Records, formResonance, Fantastic Friends Records, Circus Company, Kompass Musik, Numbolic, Kina Music, Hifreaks, Eminor, Der Hut, and many others..
