what a fantastic journey. Love it. I was having my first adventures on the dancefloor to many of these. Some of the more obscure ones here are absolute belters. You have great taste in music in my humble opinion.

The dream team pairing of Steve Bug and Cle are back on Poker Flat with another pair of absolute heaters. The duo have worked together countless times, both being veterans of the German rave scene spanning right back to its early days, yet their output remains as fresh and vital as ever. 

'Gentle Push' is a case in point - choppy samples kick off proceedings, heavy on the FX before classic house chords and a thick, rolling bassline bubble up to the surface. The kick is held off until the optimal moment, making this a candidate for a full arms-in-the-air moment. 

A Pinch of Space is a little harder, but seems crafted from the same elements. The kick hits hard while a shimmering synth lead is layered via heavy delays and reverb to create a trippy, psychedelic vibe.

This release features 4 brand new retakes of Luke's "NewFangled Slang", a crisp, emotive tech house gem, whose rhythmic, percussive build explodes into an acid-layered, synth-driven melody with spacey vocals.   
For the remix duties, Uniting Souls enlisted Seattle favorites Pezzner and Jeromy Nail, as well as the label's longtime Los Angeles resident Jordan Strong.
