Pity Party - Demo

Not All Princesses cover of the Kate Bush classic Running Up That Hill. Absolutely no backing tracks involved all created in Logic Pro X using the Arturia Firelight CMI V vst plugin which is awesome! I also played a Fender Telecaster and an Ernie ball Musicman St Vincent guitar. I got some LinnDrum tape samples from the Synthtopia website and used the Logic Pro sampler to perform the drum tracks. Lindsay mccrone on lead vocals and myself, Mhairi Sinclair on backing vocals.

cover of Dani California by Red Hot Chili Pepers. the drums were recorded in Cubase ages ago then i got a mixed down track of them on my mac and added guitars finally about a year later managed to record the vocals. this is the first mix i did of it so it may not be perfect.

Going through CDr's to see what I could chuck and found a recording of Cecil and Myself having a rare practice before an acoustic gig. Usually we just used to show up and hope for the best!

Not All Princesses covering Situation by Yazoo. 
Recorded around the same time as the Kate Bush cover.
Recorded in Logic Pro X using the Arturia Soft Synth plugin CZ V which is a soft synth version of the of the Casio CZ 101 which Vince Clarke used quite a lot back in the day. 
Drums were the hardest part to get right as there's a lot more going on than I thought there was when I started.
