What would the dance/club music scene be without Yello? The Swiss avant-garde duo with so many stellar tracks under their belt. We all know songs like The Race, Oh Yeah and Vicious Games. The list can go on forever. Martin Brodin and Copycat decided to make some Nu-Disco edits of their uber cool, and one of their most famous tracks amongst dj’s since the release back in 1981. They treated the original with lots love and gentle hands.

Bostich is the track and it created a stir on both sides of the Atlantic back then. A track like this had never been heard before. People simply went nuts on the dance floor. A true master piece if you ask us.

Yello has always been way ahead of their time and together with Kraftwerk, they’re counted as one of the pioneers of electronic music.

A very understated, almost folk-ish disco 12" from Boston. 7min of mellow bliss, sounding just right to my ears on one of the first chilly days of fall. Not sure if this is going to blow up the floor at the disco anytime soon, but then there's enough tracks to do that - and very few that can take you to the place this one does.

The Violet Hour is the exclusive project of Panorama Bar resident Massimiliano Pagliara and Michael Greene aka Fort Romeau, for Berlin imprint Cocktail d’Amore. 
One Morning In The Future takes over the A side. A total dancefloor pleaser. Treating us with Chicago house-inspired drums and that kind of cosmic pads that make any seasoned raver jump and kiss a nearby stranger. The intensity never stops growing - with new melodic strings appearing unexpectedly, projecting the track to the rings of Saturn.
An involving italo-classic bassline characterizes Ultraviolet, together with an explosive layering of synthy melodies. The B2 Prisoner Of Love is a seductive dialogue between synthesizers and classic piano, resulting in a comforting, romantic piece of cosmic disco. These two tracks illuminate feelings of looking at a violet sky, but with different attitudes: the first pushes into the unknown looking for a happy ending, while the second is nostalgic and tender.
The Violet Hour is an evergreen example of contemporary man-machine lovemaking.
