We have been listening closely as Timmo has carved his sound into the dark and seedy underbelly of the techno scene, whilst he continues to hone his fierce and watertight production skills into intelligent, napalm filled, dance floor decimators.   Armed with 18 hand picked, brutal and unreleased weapons from the private Octopus arsenal, including the likes of Sian, Maxime Dangles, Nikola Gala, Matthew Jay, Loco & Jam, Juan Sanchez, Whyt Noyz & many more, Timmo is launching a full frontal assault with no mercy on your soul.  Keeping it real, the 80 minute continuous mix was recorded live on 4 decks in one take. No editing, no studio magic. A true slice of what you can expect from Timmo live. A seamless blend of tripped out delays, perplexing loops and reverbs with an innate programming knowhow. Subliminally mesmerizing grooves, drug fueled hooks and primal build ups will leave what is left of your mind begging for more.Expertly arranged and deftly executed, the ferocity of this hungry techno tactician is not be underestimated.

<p>The legendary Mark Reeve delivers his very first techno EP on MB Elektronics. Starting this EP is the &#8216;Metamorph&#8217;. Definitely would be one of the highlight releases of this year. It features an exquisite and devastating bassline. Next is &#8216;Planet Blue&#8217; which features a very nice solid drum pattern. A subtle bassline while smooth strings gather as the production progresses. Brilliant stuff here and a EP that must definitely get a look in on MB Elektronics.</p>

Guess who's back on 1605? It's Phunk Investigation, the killing machine from Italy!

Riding the Moroder wave with tons of finesse, the boys present their latest offering featuring all sorts of crazy samples, filtered through some down & dirty production. Expect nothing less than engaging in full-on uplifting mode, guided by a bassline that only the Phunk duo could pull of so clean.

On the filp, we've got the ever-so-stylish Mike Vale, who toughens up the drums and throws in some housiness. The original vibe is, of course, retained, and the loopy approach works wonders.

Opening with the Vangelis inspired Present Voyage then weaving a path through gritty throbbing bass, exemplified by Arrival and on to minimized funk of Disco Diva and Need House, Sonic Intervention progresses naturally on through the swirling tension of Get Up and crescendos with the combination of floor-burner NZT and the old-school Electro stomping Electric Pandemic; featuring the vocals of Detroit Grand Pubas Paris Du Black Fu. When quizzed on his motivations behind his latest studio album, The Advent stated I wanted to do something quite personal for this first album and delve a little bit into the past to get inspiration from my influences to make an album that reflected all the musical genres I have been inspired by over the years electro, electronica, tech house - not just the techno tracks. Future music from a past master, made for the here and now.

It's time for a celebration: MB Elektronics exists more than 20 years already. Marco Bailey founded the label in 1999. He started producing in 1995 and released many tracks on other labels when he decided he wanted his own label. MB Elektronics was born.  "Back in the days we had some strong releases from big names such as Adam Beyer, UMEK, Joey Beltram, The Advent, Cristian Varela and Christian Smith ", Marco says. "MB Elektronics is still one of the leading techno labels, trying to select the best tracks for each release. Our strength also lies in the time we give each release to develop. We don't release records too fast after another".  MB Elektronics has many more plans for the future. No hypes, no trends, just pure techno energy!
