Progressive House, Melodic Techno, Tech House, Space House, Shamanic House, infused with some Psy, Electro, Trance & cinematic electronica influences here and there.

All my current project tracks in progress... early mixes/ arrangement. All the individual track notes have tempo/key/time info. All created  & mixed in Apple Logic Pro X on a Mac Pro M1 this time with NO external synths at all.

The goal was to create 30 tracks in 30 days from May 22 to June 22 around other startup work... so not a lot of time to sweat the details and was rebuilding a new Mac M1 studio at the same time.

 I continued on into November dropping tracks here and there and ended with this portfolio of demo tracks.. how many of these will make the final album cut I don't yet know... 

So..continued överflow¨creating  until November and hit 43 new tracks! :))

This project was about rebuilding a whole new fast creative workflow from scratch, creatively selecting sounds, demoing tracks at hyper speed to see what wanted to emerge. 

The next phase is to curate this list, take the gems and polish a final 12 for final track list ... mixes, masters and commercial album release.

Any postive/negative feedback welcomed especially of course on any standout favourites that resonate!

Mystikals - Manifesting Magic

One moment im listening to OOstil & Coeus and then out of nowhere this track manifests! I think in reality the recent passing of Vangelis reminded me deeply of the classic soundtrack to the original Bladerunner movie. This was composed around the Yamaha CS-80 analog Polysynth... the classic legendary sonic behemoth and the best and last of its generation! 

And Vangelis was an improvisational composer... he saw the pictures and played what he felt... no scoring just what came through from the visuals in front of him.

So, with that in mind... I was imagining some cinematic Sci-Fi so not surprising to end up with this expression of Sci-Fi electronica, or Sc-Fi House or Space House!

I previously used to sound-design professionally for Yamaha R&D in London for 5 years but the CS-80 was before my time. There's actually a couple of virtual emulations floating around like the excellent modern Arturia version!

A quick short cover version of Crosby Stills & Nash... because of the sad passing of David Crosby (RIP).

Vocals extracted from MP3 via vocalremover.org. Arranged & time-stretched in Logic Pro X using Flex Time & plenty of hand editing since the original was not in perfect time. 

50 years of music technology evolution between this version and the original. I replaced all the original instrumentation with synchronised synthesizers... 

Will dig in further and and likely do an extended 6 or 7 min version. This one has the Chorus synth bass part to fatten & give syncopated momentum to the Chorus & fixed most of the many vocal timing anomalies since the original was loose (No MIDI or SMPTE sync track!).
