After phenomenal debut LP 'Indirect Image' on Danza Nativa just a few weeks ago, a French prodigy Olorun is back with another great release, “WHS02” EP, this time on Aachen-based imprint Whispering Signals. The release features three originals accompanied by a hypnotic remix of Aroüagues by label boss Daniel[i], our premiere for today.

Daniel[i]'s Amalgam of Aroüagues is a slow spellbinding trip that creates a mysterious atmosphere. Its distant chants, tribal percussions, and cosmic synths generate a feeling of discovering an extraterrestrial tribe in the middle of a rain forest having their ritual and communicating with their temple somewhere in distant outer space. Daniel[i]'s Amalgam is an ideal track for warm-up sets in dark basements ahead of long techno marathons.

“WHS02” EP is set for release on April 1st via Whispering Signals.

Perpetuum was created during a creative challenge in December. The then-over 150 members of Aedi were invited to pair up with someone and create a continuous track without breaks in the arrangement.

The submissions, the album title and the artwork, were compiled in an anonymous list and voted for collectively.

Na het succes van Initiate's eerste Winter Nights-compilatie die ze afgelopen kerst uitbrachten presenteren ze nu het vervolg: Winter Nights 2. De artiesten op de compilatie kregen de opdracht een nummer te maken dat hun persoonlijke interpretatie van lange winteravonden voorstelt. Deze tweede aflevering blijft trouw aan de identiteit van het Brusselse label en biedt een zorgvuldig samengestelde selectie van ambient, deep techno, bass en drum & bass, waarmee ze de diverse stijlen tentoonstellen die hun sound definiëren.

Wij hebben de eer om met jullie al een voorproefje te delen, in de vorm van onze favoriete track van het album: 'Hexagonal Crystal System' van Clarence Rise.
