Time is a hip-hop artist from the mid-west, and also in the group Calm. He has  been featured on Noisey/VICE, toured Europe, US the Vans Warped Tour.  From being compared to William S. Burroughs as a rapper mixed with  Andre 3000, Time is known for his reflective, poetic, lyrics often dipped in dystopia and social commentary. He is also the host of the Time Talks podcast.    
Time has worked with Kool Keith, Jake One, Budo, Xiu Xiu, Factor, Ceschi, Sole, Ron Miles, and done engineering/production work for Common on The Dreamer / The Believer with James Poyser and Black America Again with Robert Glasper.

Time was picked as one of URB's Next 100 Artists and was picked as top artist for MTV2 On The Rise. Time is also a journalist and has worked with Noam Chomsky.

Who’s Mycelium? He’s the lead organizer and founder of Speaking in Tongues, The Good Earth Collective, The EcoTones, and Mycelium and Friends. Mycelium is an emcee/poet who embodies Hip Hop as a tool for social justice through lyricism and community organizing. He encourages his listeners to go deeper into their connection with the Earth and themselves through creative expression and Love, because We Are the Earth!

Where’s Mycelium? Mycelium grew up in suburbs of Cincinnati in the 80’s and 90’s and found salvation in the doldrums and bigotry of suburban life of the mid-west through Hip Hop, Punk, and Reggae music. He was in a fledgling political  Hip Hop group in high school called Rhythms of Revolution. This is where he fell in love with poetry and the power of the emcee, through influences such as Chuck D and KRS-One! He was crafting rhymes to highlight the injustices in american culture and beyond. After high school, he was introduced to the world of psychedelic music and shifted musical focus, but never gave up on the music he grew up with. Listening to bands like Phish and the Grateful Dead has introduced him to a larger spectrum of musical genres, including bluegrass, folk, and lots world music. More importantly this opened him up to improvisational music that wasn’t  jazz.  Mycelium moved around the country for a few years until he met the love of his life in Eugene, Oregon in the late 90’s. They traveled together back east, so she could be closer to her family in Vermont. Mycelium soon joined her there and they have been there together since, farming and community organizing in northern Vermont on Peace of Earth Farm. Mycelium has been involved in the food cooperative movement in some form or another after arriving in Vermont. This is where he met some young folks who loved Hip Hop, especially freestyle rhyming. They caught him up on more than a decade of new Hip Hop he was not familiar with. Mycelium fell in love with freestyle rhyming and this is where Mycelium MC was born! He enjoys revealing his love of all music in the Hip Hop music he creates.

What’s Mycelium? Mycelium not only performs original and improvised Hip Hop interchangeably, but also organizes musical events as Mycelium and Friends and The Good Earth Collective. He’s interests are in promoting musicians and bands that are more in line with he’s beliefs and that don’t get the attention they deserve in the local music scene. Many of these events are fundraisers for local organizations and the local tribes of the Original People of northern Vermont. He is currently the founder and organizer of The Good Earth Collective, where these types of events would be organized throughout the year, but in more DIY and all age spaces.

Where’s Mycelium? He can be found performing on various stages keeping crowds captivated throughout northern Vermont, mainly in the winter when the farm is less demanding. He prefers to perform with a live band, but can also hold his own solo.

Why Mycelium? We need more Love in the world and this is his way of sharing it  through lyricism!
