Née dans les années 70’s, il fais partis dune des dernières générations ayant jouer dans les rues et ruelles de Montreal. Grandissant avec les Walkmans, les jeux videos et les tables tournantes, cet artiste a connu l’enregistrement sur cassette et les heures de pratiques vis a vis ces techniques maintenant vues comme rudimentaires et dépassées. Il a sue avancer avec la technologie et appris diverses techniques complexe afin de survivre dans la jungle des Dj d aujourdui .

Mc Nikkie aka Source of Energy est un Artits/ Dj / Music Producteur de la ville de Montreal Canada.

Côtoyant multiples styles musicaux tel que : Techno, House, Melodic et Progressive, sont professionnalisme ainsi que sa capacité d’adaptation vis à vis d’une piste de danse est impressionnante. Alliant techniques et écoute, ce Dj de longue date vous invite à embarquer dans son univers musical, autant mélodieux que dansant, combinant ces productions et celles d’autrui.

S.O.E. à livré entre 200 et 300 performance dans plusieurs événements, festivals locaux et internationaux donc l’Europe, France, Monaco l’Amérique du sud, Colombie ainsi que l’Amérique du nord, Canada, Quebec Montreal.

L’artiste indépendant a sue se munir de plusieurs alliés et ressources, tant légales qu’amicales, afin d’etre un Dj / Music Producteur complet . Il devient, en 2013, un membre de la Socan (Societe canadienne des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs de musique). En 2017 il décidé de s’inscrire a Dj School Montreal afin de peaufiner son style, ces techniques et ses connaissances en mixage et production de musique électronique sur le logiciel Ableton live. Il réussis les épreuves pratiques et théoriques des 4 niveaux avec une moyenne de 91% et obtint son diplôme de Disk Jockey le 31 janvier 2019 a Dj School.

Depuis, McNikkie possède son studio et continue a produire et mixer sous le nom de Source Of Energy.
