Hailing from the Dominican Republic, Ander Diablo began his career as a 16-year-old resident DJ at Next in Santo Domingo, spinning vinyl sets in an era when it was far from trendy. This passion for vinyl sparked his love for music on a deeper level, ultimately leading him to join one of the most respected collectives in the Dominican Republic and perform at top underground clubs in the scene.

After reconnecting with music production in 2010, Ander Diablo's interest in house music grew exponentially. A few years later, under the name Ander B, he released his debut on the legendary house music label Robsoul Recordings with two releases, "El Urban" and "El Monte." Phil Weeks, the owner of Robsoul Recordings, was highly impressed by Ander's distinctive style, which was deeply rooted in hardware sampling and DAW-less production, reminiscent of the classic sounds of Chicago and Detroit.

Now, as Ander Diablo, he embarks on a new artistic journey with "Como Tú Bailas." Incorporating the iconic "Amen Break" from The Winstons' 1969 track "Amen Brother," Ander Diablo merges the widely sampled drum loop with the essence of Dominican merengue. This blend of genres creates an irresistible, innovative fusion that will set dance floors alight.

The single also pays homage to Moreno Negron, an early pioneer of electronic merengue music who relied on samples and budget digital synths. Ander Diablo revitalizes these distinctive sounds, breathing new life into them and crafting a fresh and captivating musical experience.

With a past discography under the name Ander B that includes releases such as "Ander B EP," "Outta Space," "The Black Sun," "El Urban," "El Monte," "The Samplist," "Chop Da House," and "Mind Tricks," Ander Diablo is no stranger to the world of electronic music. However, "Como Tú Bailas" signifies a bold new chapter in his artistic journey.

Ander B is a DJ / producer and live performance artist based in Barcelona, Catalonia. Originally from the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean, his music is increasingly abstract, profound and packed with rhythmic trances. The sounds he creates are based on classic house for true purists, which he melds with thick layers of Detroit and Chicago House, as well as jazz, soul, funk and disco.

Ander B describes himself as “DJ, Producer and Live PA” His handling of the MPC is similar to the way a DJ mix, doing long sessions without cuts for hours.
