Moonshiner Collective's music intends to cut through the chaos and noise of modern life and beckons the listener to let go for a moment. The band consists of singer/guitarist Dan Curcio, violinist/keys/vocalist Daniel Cimo, bassist/multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Vince Cimo, and drummer Lance Iunker.  The eclectic blend of folk rock instrumentation and four part vocal harmonies combines contemplative lyrics with a foot stomping, high energy, California beach town influenced sound. It is good time music with a passionate depth. The music's unifying positivity bridges gaps in generations and genres; with a sound and message that draws fans of The Avett Brothers, Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, Fleet Foxes, The Wood Brothers, Van Morrison, and Old Crow Medicine Show but is also a style entirely its own.

One part punk-pop, one part sunny surf, all "poolside glitter trash," San Luis Obispo, California's Hayley and the Crushers offer up a tsunami of bold, bad girl fun. Fizzy, frothy, and still a little dangerous, be careful just how far you paddle out. There's blood in the water and the mermaids in this part of the Crusherverse are known to nibble. 

The band is working on their fourth full length album to follow up Vintage Millennial (2020) and COOL/LAME (2018). Signed to Josie Cotton’s Kitten Robot Records in 2021, the Crushers are what the 80s New Wave  queen calls “the naked embodiment of power pop punk!”
