The McCoy Brothers Band was originally formed in 2012, all of them musicians and friends from the local San Diego area. Each has lived their life writing and making music in different musical arenas. One day they all managed to be in the same place, at the same time... the music poured out of them... and the band was born. 

Their music can only be described as Southern California Southern Fried Rock. The unique blend of songwriting and musical backgrounds each McCoy brings to the band gives them their original sound. Not quite fitting into any one genre -- blues, country, or rock -- but all of the above!

The McCoy Brothers deliver their original tunes with energy and honesty, and always with an edge! Their 3 (and sometimes 4) part harmonies hit home and set them apart from so many other bans, but also very reminiscent of so many great bands that have come before them.
