The Swamp Cats are a 4-piece band based in Manchester that plays a wide variety of music, including rock ‘n’ roll, pop, country & blues. All four members, including a 2014 Iowa Rock N Roll Hall of Fame inductee & a finalist in the Texaco Country Showdown competition, are experienced, entertaining musicians who have been in the entertainment business for years. They have previously been members of the popular NE Iowa bands Greenbrier, Crystal Axe, Cousin Eddie, Windfall Jac & The Basics. The band was formed in 2008 by guitarist/vocalist Tim Morehouse as a 3-piece band & expanded to a 4-piece band in 2010. Other members are guitarist/vocalist Kent Moore, drummer Tadd Moorman & bassist/vocalist Lane Gaffney.
