The Bad Planet is a collective of artists, musicians and business people. It was created in 2001, in Santa Cruz, CA by members of "Global Slobs" (a Hip Hop crew compiled of local Santa Cruz emcees).

The people involved with this group are primarily based out of California. Their styles are diverse and are respected by many. The purpose of The Bad Planet is for its members to help each other by spreading the name and good reputation of the group, its members and upcoming projects whenever necessary.
