The Hutch has again produced another earworm track, cheeky and socials-ready anthem with “Gotta Get Naughty” which blends a punchy hook with bold pop flair, upfront kick and bass with bright synth lines. An ideal track for those influencers or short-form TikTok style videos. The rap style vocal and sing-a-long "Gotta Get Naughty" chorus will have listeners nodding heads, moving bodies and tapping feet in no time! Perfect for playlists like EDM Pop, Chart Music, Modern Rap and electronica. Go on … Get naughty!

This new release is an electronic pop-dance style track. This is quite experimental for me and not sure if it works, to be honest! It has a bouncy paced feel with rap style vocals and a "Get Naughty" hook. It actually started out to be a Chris Lake inspired track, minimalist, kick/bass dominant and simple synth sounds.... but went in a different direction, as is often the case. See what you think.

++ Again a new genre for me but one I enjoyed making as I have a limited set of devices right now. So this was an unplanned "happy accident" recorded entirely with Ableton stock digital instruments and FXs. 

++ So I was learning Simpler (an Ableton Sample Player) to make a new bass sound and then added a 606 Drum Kit. I randomly produced a Trap beat to start with and added simple chords. After seeing the Droid image by Erik McLean, it sparked off a sequence of inspiration.  Using synths I have a new composition and two more similar in progress. I may make a 3 track "mini EP" of this probably under "The Android Trap" if all goes well.

I love music. I was born into a musical family, and had one piano lesson as a child, but it was no fun and I gave up. 

As a teenager I played piano and guitar by ear. After twenty-five though, life got in the way.

In mid-life I rediscovered music, and I've been making up for lost time. "Music is enough for a lifetime but a lifetime is not enough for music", someone said.

Writing and collaboration are what I enjoy most now. As an amateur I write what I want to hear. But I hope you find something you enjoy. Thank you for listening.
