Monika Cosson is a professional classical singer and voice teacher. She studied voice performance at Loyola University College of Music and Fine Arts in New Orleans, La. She has performed opera roles with New Orleans Opera, Gulf Coast Opera, Santa Fe Opera, Mobile Opera, Opera Southwest, and has toured and recorded with the Gregg Smith Singers in New York, Santa Fe Desert Chorale, and Polyphony:  Voices of New Mexico.  In her career, she has been a featured soloist with The New Orleans Philharmonic Orchestra, The Santa Fe Marimba Festival, Canticum Novum Chamber Chorus and Orchestra, The Santa Fe Community Orchestra, and The Santa Fe Men's Camerata.  She has also appeared at special events for The Santa Fe Federated Republican Women, The New Mexico State Senate, The New Mexico State Capitol, The City of Santa Fe, and the Santa Fe Film Festival.  In addition to performing, Monika became a RYT 200 in 2018 specializing in Hatha and Vinyasa yoga.  She is currently enrolled at Loyola Institute of Ministry pursuing a BA in Ministry & Theology.
