Brought up in a musical household, Holly began playing bass guitar at the age of eleven, and by the age of fifteen was playing in a number of different musical settings. By the time she began studying music at Anglia Ruskin University in 2005, she had already gained a good deal of experience in a number of different environments - recording, live gigs playing originals and covers, plus performing at functions and as part of an orchestra for musical theatre productions.

Her personal style incorporates a wide range of elements soaked up from some of her favourite music. She has a knack for creating bouncy, slinky lines that recall the classic work of James Jamerson and Willie Weeks (both key influences), whilst also enjoying the cerebral, growly energy of progressive rock players such as Chris Squire and Hugh Hopper. There's also a few wild cards in this already commendable set of influences, including Tina Weymouth, Sting, Rick Danko and Colin Moulding (to name but a few...).

Her pet preferences aside, Holly is a well-rounded, open-minded and versatile musician, who is comfortable playing in a whole range of styles. Equally at home in the studio as she is on stage, she possesses a keen ear, impressive chops, but most of all, a sensitive and enthusiastic approach to any project that she happens to be involved in. Adaptable and always eager to learn new things, Holly is a wholly reliable team player with a highly professional, positive attitude.
