Overcome the cold and sadness

Bezkwit, emerging from the Polish underground, is a new trio inspired by free jazz, noise rock, and krautrock. The band plays free improv music on a rock canvas.

The band started playing and recording their music in May 2024. At first they were inspired by the likes of Sun Ra, Hawkwind, and Popol Vuh, but soon, with the addition of Kamil Matuszewski to their line-up, they started finding their own means of communication via music.

The current line-up (and instruments they used for this particular session) that recorded the debut album:

Adam Majdecki-Janicki – electric guitar.
Kacper Sikora – electric guitar.
Kamil Matuszewski – drums.

Our first album consists of 4 long pieces/structures we always improvise around when playing gigs. The nature of our expedition in sound is never defined. We use all the instruments we can play. And, even if we are a new trio, playing in this configuration for the first time, all of us have various stages of experience in the local, national, and global underground, in the case of Adam lasting 25 years of sound exploration.
