Zootzilla returns to funk the world with that raw Flamoneous Skunk groove that made his the last record “P’n All Over da Place” such a gritty classic slab of west coast fonk. On “To Lie With Wolves” he not only channels and tunes in to the same frequency as Dr. Funkenstein, George Clinton actually shows up in the mix this time. The Good Dr. spices up tracks like the opening “Something Wicked” over a dense Bernie Worrell/Parliament- inspired bass synth lick. Lord Zoot Von Lewdwigg has again crafted a futuristic street funk classic.
