With a young career already decorated with accolades, Baby Prince is an emerging star from Australia who honours his deep roots in Zimbabwe. The 22-year old hip-hop artist has endless melodies and flows within his arsenal, influenced by the undeniable bounce of Southern trap and unbeatable showmanship of Michael Jackson; interwoven with his own personal tales of life Down Under. Relocating from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe to Brisbane, Australia in his youth, Baby Prince began making music in high school with a $20 microphone and software sourced from the Internet. He then created a mixtape for a girl in his science class, but it was music that he fell in love with from that point on. In 2018, Baby Prince decided to pursue music full-time, releasing his official debut single 'Who U Are', a woozy affair that blurred the lines between hip-hop and R&B. 

Baby Prince went on to release music consistently, including 2019's extensive Spriteschool Vol. 1 project. He collaborated with fellow up-and-comers including Creed Tha Kid ('Thousands') and veteran tastemakers like BLESSED ('Dollar $igns'), soon earning praise from national radio stations like triple j and CADA, flagship publications including NME and Acclaim Magazine, plus healthy support from Spotify on the country's biggest hip-hop playlists, A1 and The Drip. Showing his appeal outside the hip-hop space, he also performed with electronic pop act Haiku Hands in his hometown.

In 2022, Baby Prince released 'Zimbabwe', a defiant homage to his family and native country. Produced by UNO Stereo (Khalid, Denzel Curry, Sampa The Great) and Liam Thomas (Day1, Oliver Cronin, Blueboy), the track cemented Baby Prince's global mindset: "I'm just tryna settle in, they thought I was American/I flew in from Zimbabwe; young, black, and Australian."

'Zimbabwe' was bolstered by some high-profile features including his tender hook on Mason Dane's 'Pretty Pearl', and another collaboration with BLESSED on 'Down Under'. He then appeared at BLESSED's historic 'Aussie Blackstar' showcase at the Sydney Opera House, cementing Baby Prince as a crucial voice in not only the music landscape, but for the African diaspora.
