I've been thinking to make a remix contest of this track, but before I even consider doing so: I wanted to make the mix I wanted to hear. An 'Acoustic' Mix... Yeah, a couple of elements are still computer generated. I wasn't trying to be purist (budget considerations included), but rather achieving a certain sound: A pop ballad with a folky root. Because "When I'm with you" is that kind of song...  an old fashioned one: 
One that you could play with your friends at home with a guitar.
