I spent a long time recreating the sound of vinyl with the warm gritty quality we all love so much and I have recorded scratch loops so you can have me cutting on your tracks.

It’s really difficult not to recognize Sarah Jays ethereal voice by the time it comes out of the speakers. The person behind the lyrics and vocals on "Dissolved Girl" from Massive Attacks legendary "Mezzanine" album, counts more than 80 releases as a session singer and has made her mark in the art pop, electronica music world.

After releasing her ‘’You are the sun’’ track back in 2018, together with Shez Sheridan, she collaborates with the Greek producer mCurtis and presents the track once again in a unique, groovy and down-tempo ‘’package’’ as well as an instrumental version.

“Sarah Jay - You are the sun”. A cinematic, jazz oriented - electronica instrumental with a new vocal recording will be out digitally through Klik records on Beatport.

mCurtis a.k.a Emanouil Kourtikakis returns with his brand new and second full length album "Faro". After his debut album "Yomi" two years ago and followed by "Yomi Remixed" last year, we are excited to present you his new album "Faro". 

With eight new and fresh tracks "Faro" moves over downtempo, trip hop and beat making electronica blended in a multi-genre concept combining organic instruments and spaced out cosmic vibes. Beats, synthesizers, double bass, piano keys, trumpet and saxophones are the fundamental elements of this album. The entire package visualises different aspects, feelings and concerns of the past year. 

Last month the single "Spark" was taken and released from this album featuring California / USA based MC Rapper Lost Poet providing his cool hip hop vocals, while on the saxophone is featured Lunar Moods (Nikos Chalkias) to showcase the album. Serbian based singer Nina De Lianin contributes on the opening track with her wonderful vocal and lyrics on "Draw a new Picture" while she also contributed on "I Agua" telling a story with the words and story written by mCurtis. Drums on "Defiled Panacea" by Serafeim Stroumpis.

Born in Heraklion of Crete Island and raised in both the city  and the Matala sea side area.  Started working as a radio producer/dj at the age of eighteen. 
In parallel to djing, he delves into production in 2012,while the next year he finds him-self at Dubspot DJ school at New York, working in a better production level and in a few years he presented the YOMI LP album which became one of the 50 best trip hop albums of 2018 (according to trip hop nation).  Two more albums and numerous singles/remixes followed the next years.
The productions and the music written, most of the times, have social implications and are derived by the daily life and concerns of  the artist. Usually highly inspired by his interest and love for the nature and the protection of the falling enviroment.  
The beginning of 2014 found mCurtis at the same line up with Dub inc. and Los Dos o Mas Band at Gagarin 205 music stage (Athens). An event that was added next to the Matala beach festival [2013], the Berlin party at Kulturfabrik [along with “The new implements of soul” Band and DJ Irmel Kid Border], Imagine the City festival at Crete, the Madeira/Portugal DJ sets and many more successful parties. At 2015 he added some concert stage sets alongside Imam Baildi, Dub Pistols, Baba zula, Nouvelle Vague, Balkan Rydims and Villager of Ioannina city. His latest attendances was at the lineups of the Secret Sound Festival, Meadows in the mountains (Bulgaria), le Mellotron (Paris) and Thingy Studio (London).
That Actively djing all this time he has shared the decks with djs/producers like like Commix, Idjut Boys, Fleck, Jon Kennedy, Hugo Kant, Cayetano, Mononome, Kill Emil, Poldoore, Funky Notes, Dj Sickhead, RAMZi, Funkanizer, Anna Mystic, Insom, B-Digital, Panama Cardoon, Stiko & Wag to name a few.
