Monica is a singer/songwriter from Overland Park, Kansas, and she is currently working on writing songs, honing her talents, strengthening her connections, and finding opportunities to perform as much as possible in Nashville. Along with training her voice, Monica has used her time at Belmont University to hone her talents in songwriting, as well as playing guitar, piano, ukulele, violin, and mandolin. In her free time, she also enjoys swing dancing, songwriting, acting, and drawing. She attributes her biggest musical influences to Sara Bareilles, Billy Joel, Ben Rector, Francesca Battistelli, and (don’t laugh), the Jonas Brothers.
