L.A. Ramon is a Colorado producer of hip hop and more. To his credit he has independently produced local sensation 719 and The Dark Side. at 19 L.A. created an independent label: Sac Paca Records co owned by friend and mentor Greg "Big G" McClean. L.A. has helped to carve a path for many local artist in Colorado  with the The Dark Side (1993), and 719 (1995) both groups would receive much attention and acceptance in their region. 719, influenced by west coast funk and mobb music consisted of Ramon "L.A." Alexander, Seyi "Scorp Dezel" Agbeti, and Lamar "Caliba" Taylor. The group would disband one year later not without leaving a lasting mark on the City of Colorado Springs, Co giving birth to the 719 movement, and helping to open the door for the Colorado Stand Up alliance. L.A. is working hard on one of two solo albums he will release 2011-2012. L.A. will continue to produce but will close the chapter on his rapping ambitions after his second solo release. L.A. plans to help develop Colorado talent and produce various genres of music. Stay tuned for future notices.
