'Mitch Oliver’s goal is to share his passion for music, one beat at a time. Starting at a very young age, he is often described as a music curator. His sound is versatile, flexible, and his musical taste is nothing short of fantastic. From Deep House, Deep tech, Techno and Tech House, what matters is that the music as a melodic groove. Over the last 3 years, Mitch has played in renowned clubs in his city and owns a monthly residency at Velvet. Mitch has been trusted to provide warm-up support for artists of the like of Kidnap Kid, Prok & Fitch, Matt Lange, Riva Starr and many more.  Mitch Oliver is now devoting all of his time into music production and has just successfully completed a yearlong intensive program to become a sound engineer at Musitechnic. He is now focusing on some very promising music projects, and already has a release out on Inward Records that got early support by many artists.'

➤ About:
George X was born in the city of Xanthi, Greece but currently lives in Athens.
From his early years he showed interest in music, which came natural considering the cultural growth and love of the arts that surrounds his birthplace.
He draws inspiration by everyday scenes and his tracks reveal a man with an artistic ear and view of life. He started as a DJ from the early age 14 and became quite successful, starting from Xanthi and moving downwards the country.
He has worked with some well-known producers-DJ’s such as: Behrouz, Sabb and more.
His producing career began 6 (six) years ago with the EP “In my dream” on Lee Burridge’s label “Get weird” that became a hit and soon enough had his own vinyl record. There were more from that came from, as it tends to happen with creative minds. Some of his hit releases come from known labels such as Nervus Records/The Soundgarden/Delysid/ Magician On Duty/Submarine Vibes and more.
His tracks received support by globally renounced DJ’s and producers. Some of them are John Digweed,Hernan Cattaneo,Nick Warren,Darin Epsilon,Lee Burridge,Lost Desert,Sebastien Leger,Roy Rosenfeld,Audiofly,DAVI,Armen Miran,Newman,Death On The Balcony,Kevin Di Serna and more.

“Narcissus is a painting by the Italian Baroque master Caravaggio, painted circa 1597–1599.

Narcissus, according to the poet Ovid in his Metamorphoses, is a handsome youth who falls in love with his own reflection. Unable to tear himself away, he dies of his passion, and even as he crosses the Styx -a river that forms the boundary between Earth and the Underworld- continues to gaze at his reflection.

The painting conveys an air of brooding melancholy: the figure of Narcissus is locked in a circle with his reflection, surrounded by darkness, so that the only reality is inside this self-regarding loop.”

A sound engineer by profession and a DJ by passion having influence from the combination of rock, pop, instrumentals, and electronic dance music which all became infused with his own love for deep house/techno and electronica.

"INSEAD 20D has been an incredible journey for me, professionally, personally, and even musically. I’ve had such a crazy opportunity to play a wide variety of genres of music, some of which I never even thought INSEADers would respond to, let alone rave all night to. The openness of you all to explore new styles outside your normal comfort zones with us has been really heart-warming, and I will carry so many fond memories of our gigs with me - I hope we get to play for you all again one day!

This mix follows my INSEAD journey, from the highs of meeting everyone in P1 to the lows of the darker times during the year. Every track I’ve included in this mix is attached to a very specific memory from this year (if you’re interested, feel free to ask me about individual tracks!).

The closing track, Corners of the Earth by Odesza, for me perfectly captures our growth over this challenging year, our never-ending bond, and the feeling I have as our INSEAD 20D cohort goes out into the world."
