Sam Klemet is the Executive Director of the Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA) and Detroit Auto Show.

A Metro Detroit native and Michigan State University graduate with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, Klemet is a former award-winning on-air journalist, with a decade of impactful storytelling in Illinois, Minnesota, and Indiana. Transitioning to leadership, Klemet’s journey continued with his tenure as President and CEO of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters (MAB). In May 2024, Klemet joined the DADA and Detroit Auto Show as Co-Executive Director alongside Rod Alberts. This transition positioned him to take the reins as sole Executive Director in January 2025, becoming only the sixth person to hold this title in the organization’s storied history.

EGA is the best

This song cycle contains texts of three poems by the Romanian DaDaist poet Tristan Tzara. The premiere took place in 2017, performed in its original version for voice and piano by tenor Callum McGing and myself. Erik Satie and the composers of Les Six were a major influence on the three songs, and attempts were made to capture the spirit of DaDaism in the music.

The SPR3 was formed by two University of Utah students back in 2003. They met in a creative writing class. Had shared interests (Adbusters, Negativland, Strangers With Candy, etc) and soon started publishing a zine. Forming a band was the obvious next step. The SPR3 first distributed their music to the public in a CD that was included in the 12th issue of their zine. The zine was known as "Chiaroscuro" and the CD was known as "The CD of the Absurd." The 39th and last issue of the zine was published in 2013, but they never stopped making music. They launched their official website and released their first cassette tape ("Rhythm & Booze") in 2021.
