In the 54th episode of my Italo Disco series on gds.fm, I present an insight into the discography of the label “Slow Motion Records.” The mix goes beyond the boundaries of classic Italo disco. However, its influences are clearly audible in the productions. The label has also contributed significantly to the Italo hype in Berlin. 

The label about itself:
Based between Chieti – Italy and Berlin, Slow Motion Records is a purveyor of the best Italian producers from London to Shanghai and New York to Milan. The label elevates the Italian dance music at all latitudes, whilst remaining true to the heritage and feels of the vibe that has filled dance floors for the last 30 years. This style has attracted producers around the world who have inherited the movement and made it their own, conceiving of Slow Motion international sister label Wrong Era.

Of course, it's impossible to cover the entire oeuvre of such a prolific label in just one hour. This selection offers a small glimpse into some of the songs that I personally like very much.
