The story of King Street Sounds starts at the Paradise Garage in New York City, the iconic nightclub that birthed the soulful house music movement. Once home to the late DJ Larry Levan, the Paradise Garage has had a major influence on the career choice and artistic style of house royalty such as David Morales, Louie Vega and Junior Vasquez, and was a keystone for the region's LGBT culture, particularly for Black and Latin American men. This spirit, along with the iconic music the Garage cultivated, inspired the foundation of King Street Sounds in 1993. 

Japanese founder Hisa Ishioka continues to spearhead the label’s output, maintaining King Street Sounds’ position at the forefront of dance culture. Predominantly focusing on its roots in house music whilst also pushing the sonic boundaries of the label to include Afro, Latin, jazz and tech-infused records, King Street Sounds has a global repertoire with a worldwide following. Household names such as Blaze, Barbara Tucker and Ultra Naté released exceedingly successful records such as ‘Most Precious Love’ and ‘Party Girl’ on the label, while house legends Kerri Chandler and Dennis Ferrer signed their seminal albums ‘Trionisphere’ and ‘The World As I See It’ to King Street Sounds. 

Fast forward to today, King Street Sounds continues to honor the legacy of the past thirty years, weaving its music into the modern ecosystem to educate and entertain new ears and existing fans. Through the continued work of label founder Hisa and a dedicated team of dance music experts, a new wave of talent pumps the beating heart of this legendary label.

4Peace is the proud owner of the 4Peace Music Group which oversees the management of his labels Juiced Music, Cabbie hat Recordings, UHHQ & his wife's label Caliber Sounds.  He was the Jackin House, Garage & Lounge/Chillout A&R genre manager at Traxsource from 2011-2024.  He's been rockin' dancefloors as a DJ since the late 80's from Dallas to Miami and now in New Zealand.  It doesn't matter whether it's deep, tech, disco, jazz, soul or funk, as long as it JACKS!!!

Amaury Trevino is a musician, producer & dj from México, born in April 1991. Has been involved in music since very young at home, he started playing drums with local bands when he was 13 years old then discovered FL Studio, Reason where learned/developed skills for production, he's also running a label called @ArtRoomRecords

Alessio starts his musical career at the age of 13, approaching the world of djing through parties organized by friends. House music lover and vinyl addicted; His musical route is dynamic and the continuous desire to offer something original has brought him to be very appreciated during these years. His label Trend Records released a lot of young talents alongside masters like Terry Farley,Paul Johnson, Ricky Montanari, Paul Cut and many more. The music has been played by artists like Osunlade, Vincent Floyd, Alexander Robotnick, Ben Sims and Fred P to name a few. Alessio has performed in great clubs around Italy and not only: Berlin, Zurich, Barcelona, Ibiza, London, Tunis and more to come. His tracks have been played and appreciated by artists like Jimpster, Kerri Chandler, Dj Sneak, Doc Martin, Honey Dijon, Eris Drew & Octo Octa, Slam and many more. in 2017, Alessio started to make music even with a new alias: Hill. He presses his own music, that's why Hill is also a label where he releases only his stuff, exclusively on wax. Hill's music has been played by Secretsundaze, Move D, Apollonia, just to name a few. Alessio use this alias to bring on stage his production, performing them with a full analog live set. His versatility makes Alessio a unique artist, constantly in search, always ready to surprise.
