FunkyMo is a New York City based producer and DJ from Taiwan. His remix is the first of many to come for the funk fusion tune that features Song Yi Jeon on lead vocals, Luis D'Elías on guitar, Dave Lowenthal on bass, Miguel Gallardo on keys and Andrés Marín on drums.

Clap With Me (FunkyMo Remix)

"Implode" describes the death of a star, chanting a motive through impacts and explosions until all that's left is a stopping heart-beat and textures that reminisce the star’s presence in the form of stardust.

@28lines demonstrates the creative exploration of audio techniques, incorporating the resulting sounds into an evocative musical context on this first single fully composed and produced by him. The effort is backed up by New York based record label Music Dribble Entertainment, artwork by Tobias Arboleda and mastering by Alex Psaroudakis.

28 Lines is the artistic outlet of producer, composer and sound designer David Cardona from Colombia. Cardona draws inspiration from the likes of Aphex Twin, Jon Hopkins and Amon Tobin, but aims to always create something fresh and innovative. His freshman immersive song is a heavily visual sonic event, bringing together fierce rhythms, powerful bass synths, melodic arpeggios and shimmering atmospheres. The development of the song brings a wide variety of ear-candy, stutters, stop-time transitions, warping swells and other artistic devices that aim to transport the listener’s experience into a sci-fi technological world.

@glowcean presents the second remix of Mostacho Xprmnt's "Clap With Me" in collaboration with Music Dribble Entertainment in New York and artwork by Cikadda in Russia.  

"I wanted to remake this track with a more modern, futuristic and synthesized sound. So I used digital synths like Serum, and added lots of my favorite sounds of water, foley and heavy bass." said the South Korean producer and beatmaker glowcean aka Junhyung Kim. 

glowcean started playing classical piano at 7, which led him to grow his enthusiasm and talent in music. In 2012, he started majoring in Jazz Piano at Berklee College of Music. But soon after, inspired by various artists such as Flying Lotus, Tokimonsta and The Internet, he decided to become a producer and embed electronic elements in Hip-hop, R&B and Soul genre. During his time at Boston, he released his unique-styled tracks on SoundCloud, including '🌘Ceremony', 'Inside of you (Cosmic)' and 'Spr(ing) out'. Now back in Seoul, glowcean is blending his expertise in classical & jazz piano with electronic production to create the sounds of the future.

Clap With Me (glowcean Remix)

“Clap Again”: a ritual that takes the traveler on an inner journey.

Colombian electronic composer @28Lines releases “Clap Again”, a four movement piece inspired by his ritualistic approach to music technology.

The newest song of 28 Lines converts the ritual of clapping into one of self-reflection. “Clap Again,” derived from a Mostacho Xprmnt song and transformed into a musical journey, is available on all platforms on September 3rd.

It all starts with an Invocation. The traveler is surrounded by darkness, until summoned by rhythm and music.

At the main event, Visions of pyrotechnia, fire and light showcase the truths that can never be reduced to words.

The spectacle dims and the traveler initiates the journey back to stillness between the rain and the moonlight. A sense of serenity remains.

Finally the traveler returns, forever changed by blurred flashbacks of the ritual. 

“Clap Again creates a journey inwards in times that make outer travels a significant challenge” explains 28 Lines a.k.a. David Cardona.

Throughout the piece, 28 Lines uses several audio synthesis techniques to capture unique sonic standards. “Clap Again” is influenced by a variety of artists, including Jon Hopkins, Ben Howard and Aphex Twin. This collaborative effort weaves in important portions of “Clap With Me” by the Brooklyn band Mostacho Xprmnt.

28 Lines is also releasing the EP “Stages” in late September. It contains the instrumental movements of Clap Again and opens up a new chapter of collaborations for musicians all over the world.
