Here is why I do what I do.

Music did not start as a career for me. It started as survival.

When my father abandoned me as a child, something empty opened up inside me. But at the same time, music planted a seed. It became the voice that stayed when people did not. It became the place where I learned to stand on my own, where I found strength, identity, and purpose. When I pour myself into these songs, it is not just passion. It is my life story. It is the only thing that ever felt like home.

That is why I care so deeply about the music I create. That is why I am intense about my work.

Music helped me survive myself, and now I make it to help others survive their own battles.

These recently posted songs on 11/19/2025 are not my usual MDRJR tracks, and I am not singing on them, but I wrote every word. They are part of my new Country Pop project called Tennessee Major and Ida Clementine. If we can help them both grow, it might help MDRJR reach more listeners around the world who need these songs and these messages.

I am also building Ida Clementine, a young Country Pop artist I created to carry the innocent, hopeful side of the stories I never had as a kid, but through a young girl perspective. Yes, I'm a storyteller for all. Ida represents the light, the childhood warmth, and the playful heart that so many people lose along the way. She is another part of my mission to help people feel seen, loved, and understood through music.

The truth is that going up against major record labels gives independent artists almost no chance for their songs to be heard by the masses. But maybe together we can show the world something different.
