Surfacing from the depths of Ki's waters to cheers and happy roars, Arp Aubert bursts forth with a long-awaited new release. From the shop of Mirau operator Stephan Lorenz, "Moshislongo" bears his trademark devotion to exhilarated perfection. The title track rolls out a hovercraft-like texture, bound for the scenic rou- te amidst a flock of happily fluttering beats of myriad shapes and sizes. A sparkling surge from beneath bounces the lot along in kaleidoscopic unison, birds of a feather after all. Track B, "Lowport", wanders through the deep, propel- ling it's effervescing mass amidst Pascalian bubbles and the current's pull, a benevolent Leviathan guiding a favored ship through an unknown sea. The second part of Lowport tacks langorously into friendlier wa- ters. The acid bass bobs like a confident sound man- tra through a forest of calimbas and melancholy syn- thie chords. The weather is looking up. The sun co- mes out. Me Succeeds have a graceful take on the title track. The now two-person band of Lorin Strohm and Mona Steinwidder translate the original's melancholy pulsing moods into a profound sound-tableau. Mona recites a text of her own, circling over dub-character beats and fading chords. Alexander Polzin's Moshislongo Remix marches through unmowed fields. Jumbled vocals give rise to the warm chinook of a constant bass. On it blows, re- verently, as pearls and bubbles dance into the warm bass from all directions. Contentment throughout, all will be well!

Welcome to Nightlife. Johannes Klingebiel’s debut on RSS Disco’s Mireia Records. 
An atmospheric journey. Melancholic, yet euphoria-inducing.
Johannes’ five tracks cast their shadows into the darkness, mirroring patches of light that can be found if you wander out far enough. 
It’s simultaneously the soundtrack of sweaty dancers losing their sense of time and place and the hopeful feeling of a new day during a drive into the first light in the hazy morning hours.

Johannes is a studied drummer. He released music on labels like Mule Musiq, Ancient Future Now and Feines Tier. He’s also one half of Alma & Mater and travels constantly with the bands C.A.R. and Vimes. Oh and he’s a great DJ as well. He probably never sleeps. That’s how he manages to capture the magic of Nightlife.

Johannes Klingebiel - Where is U (Nightlife EP)

Portable Sunsets is the project of artist and electronic music producer Peter Segerstrom based in Brooklyn, US. He previously released his full-length album ‘Bless’ on Atomnation, an LP as ‘Surfing’ on 1080p and another Portable Sunsets LP on Deadelus’ Magical Property label. ‘Order’ is the follow up of these records and is a dreamy, somewhat lo-fi experimental techno LP.

Combined with an ancient ambient undertone, ‘Order’ is not losing its club-ready vibe. This record floats somewhere between laid-back warehouse techno and the electronica genre – very much representing a unique style: Peter often uses his own voice in his productions, programmed through self-created synths in MAX/MSP. Vocals have become textures and are used as a synth, pad or soundscape.
