The 1st track of 'Lapidary' alleviates the pressures of existence through our yearning for a maturation of the soul that allows us to mitigate against the pressures of life. The name 'Asterism' given to the track means "a star shaped concentration of light reflected or refracted from a gemstone". Pressure inevitably forms gems and consequentially they bestow upon us the facets within them that shine.

'Chatoyancy' refers to the sheen created by light refracting off parallel channels, crystals or fibres included within a gem. The term chatoyancy comes from the French term 'oeil de chat', meaning 'cats eye'. A chatoyant gem displays a single bright band of reflected light across its surface. To say one has a cats eyes is indicative of their optimistic and curious nature.

'Lustre' is the property of a gem described as "a gentle sheen or glow". As above in the cosmos so as below in our persona, as within our souls, as with-out us amongst the great expanse that all encompasses us. Within us is a deeply misinterpreted universe and out with it one all the more so misunderstood. To lust a deeper mastery of ourselves in turn touches us with a profound proclivity toward comprehension of the universe around us and vice versa.

This is 'Reminiscence', an almost 7 minute long soulful breakbeat banger that I produced, mixed and mastered myself.
