During the COVID-19 Pandemic, I took a leap of faith and started assigning podcasting as a project. Throughout this article, I will be sharing student work and different project ideas you can incorporate into your own curriculum.” This episode also includes student examples that are included as “figures” in the electronic publication.

This was actually the first song I ever made at the beginning of freshman year :)

For a while, I had no idea what to do for the sample project. All of the snippets I wanted to use were either the wrong key or the wrong tempo. But, after finding a more subtle clip from Taylor Swift's "imgonnagetyouback," I found a way to make everything work together.

I included this track because I felt it was the first project that moved me out of my comfort zone on Soundtrap. I wound up using loops that didn't seem to fit together at first and I like the end product.

i used a bunch of samples from different songs, & made my own kick. i wen for a more house/phonk style on this song.

I spent a while struggling to write lyrics for this project, but after spiraling a little bit at 3am I wound up rewriting the song "That Funny Feeling" by Bo Burnham with lyrics that fit my theme(s). I'm no vocalist but I do like what I wrote, so I felt I should include it.
