This summer Moderna Y Theus Mago return with their fourth collaboration release ‘Give Chance A Trance’, the four-track EP will be released on Duro Label. The duo have an established history of their
own sound that touches on various genres and this ep is no different, featuring cuts of techno, acid, and dark disco that bring you electrifying sounds, elusive rhythms, and dystopian vibes.
Starting off strong with ‘La Tranca’ an energetic and galloping track with articulate vocals and psychedelic synthesizers that create an atmosphere of trap and invites you to choose your destiny for
the night. Next up is ‘Preset Body’ a chaotic track with an acidic bassline and a booming drum that immerses you in a whirlwind of rotating and twisted synthesizers, with vocals that feel like strobes in the night.
The third track, ‘Give Chance A Trance’ is a rave cut that gives the EP its name. With an incisive drum and reverberating synthesizers, this track has a very clear message: “Tomorrow is the question, Music is the answer”. The path to liberation and freedom.
Finally, the EP closes with ‘The Motion Of Emotions’ a playful and sexy track that lures you in on a journey into the night keeping you glued to the dance floor with “pulsing lights and flashing beats”, it's the perfect time for our worries to fade, “to be free, let go and thrive”.
‘Give Chance A Trance’ by Moderna Y Theus Mago will be available on all platforms June 16th. Enjoy the sound of what could be described as an embodied hallucination rave trip.

Taking us on a sleazy, strobe lit tour of the darker corners of clubland Next Wave Acid Punx DEUX is the second compilation curated for Eskimo Recordings by Luca Venezia, aka Curses. Threading the needle between early industrial, EBM, post-punk experiments and some of the most exciting music being made today, the 49 track compilation also features some of Luca's own exclusive remixes such as his 'Revamp' of New Beat classic J.W.B. Hits The Beat's 'Body On Body'.

Originally released back in 1987, Curses' remix brings the track right up date, pushing the tempo and toughening up the drums whilst stripping it back down to focus on the portentous choral synth pads and teasing us with its ecstatic vocal samples before the effervescent Italo melody brings it all together. A perfect synthesis of past and present, much like the compilation it's taken from.

Nixxon's gloomy, cosmic electro slow-roller opens Mechatronica White 2, followed by the heavier sounds of West, driven by razor-sharp synth stabs, voodoo percussion and a colossal bassline to boot.

On the flip, Franz Scala meshes italo, acid and spacey synth grooves into two effective anthems for the floor, destined to move bodies and transport minds.
