Aitor Arch makes some of the best underground parties in Madrid with its "Femur Club" and it's all naturally that he joined Barcelona forces of Moog Club composed by Der Kapitan & Gus Van Sound from Clasicos Del Ruido to select this mini-compilation. The four tracker here is a true european venture and nothing less of a symbol in this dark times for the continent as it gathers italian, french, british and german producers ! Hyboid, In Aeternam Vale, Kid Machine and Alessandro Parisi are invited to the table. We're premiering the latter here, being fan from the first hour and having invited him to play LIVE at Batofar some years ago alongside Mick Wills for a memorable party ! Chris Davis the legend, one of the former creator and participant of West London cold wave electronic band Shoc Corridor, is now a protagonist of next release from super eclectic Electronic Emergencies imprint based in Rotterdam. Mr. Davis had created three original mixes which was supported by remixes from Dutch's Rude 66, Machinegewehr and Swede Yabibo Hazurfa.

The seventh release of the MSQ label is related to the label owner Moralez together with the legendary techno/ hardcore/ EBM producer The Horrorist. Their casual acquaintance at one of the night underground parties in Neukölln (Berlin) led to that future collaboration. EP contains three versions of the track “Sleep when you die”: the original version with the lyrics and vocals by Oliver Chestler aka The Horrorist; extended (DJ friendly) version without any vocals; and the “chaos effect” variation in the best traditions of the early hardcore techno.

Russian powerhouse Gegen Mann is back! The prolific and talented Moscow-based artist simply cannot stop delivering high-quality material for the Dark Disco lovers out there. He finishes his (extremely) busy year with “Hunter”, a 7-track album to be released on the almighty Oberwave label. This time, he explores his new beat, EBM, and goa trance influences, and focuses on ultimate darkness and 100% body music groove. The entire release seems to be the OST of a violent cyberpunk horror movie, whose main character spends the nights preying in the shadows ready to chase heedless victims in order to satiate his/her basic desire to kill.

The track we were solicited to review, “Vremya Vspyat”, is one of the most intense of the album and depicts, in our imaginary movie, the very moment one of the hunted victims tries to escape, running frightfully and looking back over his/her shoulders while gasping, trying to spot the hunter, but sees only shadows and scary shapes moving relentlessly and mercilessly just as if waiting the right moment to put an end to another miserable life. Will the hunter succeed? Fortunately, yes.
