'Tri-gate' finds Sync 24 hooking up with UK techno noisenik @truss for a muscular electro workout with bass weighty enough to grab you by the throat, and dizzying 808 breaks to put your head in a spin. It’s a paranoiac soundscape with vocal smears and interference, driving you through a futuristic urban darkness in the way only good electro can, without ever being formulaic or predictable. The old cliche is true – if it ain't broke don't fix it, but to that we might add: just keep pushing it to its limits. Truss and Sync 24 are certainly doing that.

No Moon blends electro, breaks, acid and UK bass into a forward-thinking club EP for the 7th release on our main label.

Opening with 'Sirens', the A-side plunges straight into deep and breaky sub-domains, before sliding on to the brighter and melodic, but equally heavy workout, 'Bathtub Dub'.

On the flip, electro and UK bass come together on gloomy tool 'Where Am I', before 'Acid IX' finishes off the record with a blissful, distorted acid frenzy for the floor.

@Arp220 is the output of one woman from the east coast of the US named Enif.  Recorded and mixed in the Applied Research Recording Laboratory, this release recalls the cosmically exploitative and scientifically curious sounds/themes of dreamy Electro as well as exploring the deep and muscular bass tones of early Minimal Wave and EBM. Rooted in the Post Punk restlessness, ARP220 re-interprets the sound to narrate a cyberpunk scenery. From down-tempo EBM to obscure dark Electro, deadly fat bass lines are constantly pumping under her vocoded voice. This EP will be available on April 15th

Cross-border wiring in the studio for the new RFR release! Russia and Georgia share their musical conscience and deliver a fine split EP for cat. no. 16. RNBWS just recently caused a sensation with new tracks on RFR, and we already know Generali Minerali from his first release for RFR X. So now it’s about to time to melt their creative spirit into a collective EP on vinyl.

Generali Minerali and his army occupy the a-side. “Generation of Mars” is musical terraforming in its purest form. Minimally crafted electro, a shot of acid and well-placed melodic patterns are the main ingredients for a magnificent opener.

“Dry Water” sticks with the electro leitmotiv. Compared to the A1 we find a closer reference to the dance floor, meandering scanner sounds and a snare, that keeps slapping constantly. This is how we like it!

On the b-side RNBWS carry on where Generali Minerali and his troops had left the battlefield. “Galaxy” opens the doors to an interplanetary round dance, the place where mind and body join together in the sense of classic electro.

“Nothing but Hardcore” needs no further explanation. UK hardcore in its most beautiful garments, which is so characteristic for RNBWS’ tracks. Interwoven by electro elements, who get to the heart of this EP in terms of stringency.
