When I first heard the clinks, chimes, and ethereal swooshes in some of these tracks, I pictured a dragonfly—light and free—gliding through the air. But something in this mental movie was missing. Then I found some tracks with some bass notes that would have me duckfacing galore (if you know me well you know I love me them deep thuds). Whether with words or just instrumental beats, all these tracks had me seriously OoOooOo-ing in me body and feeling many things in me heart. Together, they formed a sort of mental movie: the journey of Eni, the dragonfly.

Eni starts out as an aquatic nymph, eventually emerging with wings to explore the world beyond the water. She sets out on a journey, not knowing exactly where it will lead but driven by the desire to find something more.

Her journey is filled with sunny paths and mythical forests, but also sharp-edged caves and labyrinths paved with dissonant sounds that reflect life’s challenges. Through dramatic build-ups and moments of release, Eni navigates the highs and lows, and everything in between.

There are times when Eni feels lost in the dark, unsure if she’ll find her way out. But just when it seems like too much, a shift in the sound, a sparkle of lightness, pulls her forward again.

The final track ties it all together, balancing the deep bass with those lighter elements. By the end of her journey, Eni realizes that the real treasure wasn’t a destination but the journey itself.

This mix is for anyone who feels lost and obstructed by the prolonged thuds of life. It’s a reminder that no matter how low the bass brings you, there’s always a light swoosh to lift you up and carry you forward, because we are all Eni ✨

Push Communications return with the 7th edition of their scene-defining compilation series. My Tech House Vol. 7 is packed full of pure heat, and even includes six exclusive tracks that serve as the perfect reminder of how strong and varied Tech House is in 2013. Many familiar faces return this time out – the ever-dependable sounds of Martin Landsky, Daniel Dexter, and Alex Niggemann all drop serious business here. Steve Bug also offers up a remix of his ‚No Adjustments‘ featuring the Foremost Poets - one of the highlights from last year’s Noir album. 
As with the previous compilations from Push, there’s plenty of room for hot new talent breaking through into the scene. Here we are blessed with dope tracks from the Maximiljan, Andrade, Rubinskee and the young Brit, Josh Winiberg, whose exclusive Acid Angel is a journey into refined House dynamics. 
There are also standout tracks from some veterans – check for example Abe Duque’s ‚What Happened‘ and the outstanding collaboration between X-Press 2, Werner Niedermeier and Gareth Whitehead. What’s more, infamous Berliner Sven Dohse offers up the hypnotic ‚Am Wald‘ while Iron Curtis cements his credentials with an amazing rework from the evergreen Move D. 
And if that wasn’t enough, more exclusive tracks from 9West, Mihai Popoviciu, Jamie Anderson and Owain K, Alessio Mereu, and Sven Tasnadi & Dan Drastic make the point – Tech House is booming under this current crop of exceptional producers.

Medeea Haruki is a DJ, producer, singer, freestyle composer, and former professional dancer blending raw techno, melodic house, and dreamy deep-space grooves. Medeea’s alter ego - Alien Babe is also the title of her debut track. She delivers hypnotic sets that blur the lines between the cosmic and the deeply human. 

Medeea's musical journey began with classical vinyls spinning at home, courtesy of her mother, and was later electrified by her father’s rock collection. This foundation evolved as she immersed herself in the electronic scenes of New York, Paris, London & Berlin. These diverse experiences have shaped her eclectic style, characterized by contrasts, memories and dreams.

Having performed internationally, Medeea’s sets are a testament to her ability to blend diverse influences into a cohesive, otherworldly experience.
