Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the French dj & producer Hemissi (Axis Records).

Anouar Hemissi, born in the south of France. 
Attracted by hip-hop, funk, techno and house, among other styles. 
He has always devoted most of his time to his passion for music. 
Inspired and influenced by Jeff Mills, Ben Sims, Luke Slater and many more. 
It was in 2020 that his project began with labels like Anemone Recordings, where he took his first steps and since then released his music on respected labels like Symbolism (Ben Sims), Soma Records (Slam), MORD Records (Bas Mooy), Olympian (Developer), and Edit Select Records. 
In 2021, he will release his first album on Jeff Mills’ legendary label, Axis Records.
Today we're excited to present this great set of thrilling techno.

Gheran is a renowned DJ and producer from the city of Medellin, born in Envigado in 1998; He began his musical journey in 2013 playing for his friends and opening spaces in clubs in the city. 

In the journey of almost a decade as a DJ he has had the opportunity to share in several important stages of the paisa scene, such as Freedom, Dreaming and Village Festival. He has also shared the stage with international DJs such as Ben Sims, Surgeon Antigone, Dimi Angelis, Samuel I Session, Alexander Kowalski, Rene Wise, among others.

He is currently owner of the brand Utopia Medellin and belongs to the Technocity Collective Medellin & Kalchno, resident of Terraza Club.

Gheran es un reconocido DJ y productor de la ciudad de Medellín, nacido en Envigado en 1998; Comienza su viaje musical en el 2013 tocando para sus amigos y abriendo espacios en clubes de la ciudad.

En el recorrido de casi una década como DJ ha tenido la oportunidad de compartir en varios escenarios importantes de la escena paisa, como el Freedom, Dreaming y el Village Festival. When techno is on your DNA you never need additional translation, this is the case with Hugo Rolan, hailing from the north of Spain, more precisely Asturias, he has been exposed to techno and futuristic sounds since his teenage years, and now he's a well seasoned forty something adult.

He’s been primarily a dj for two decades, staying hidden in the local underground scene while working on a standard dayjob. In his spare time he’s been learning production skills, diving deep inside music creation software and hardware, training hard and silently until he felt the moment of going public.

The waiting has been worth it and he has just released his first solo work in one of the most renowned techno labels around, Warm Up Recordings, curated by Oscar Mulero. With a full album that is gonna hit the stores soon this summer.

A real example of a real techno lover living in the real world, loving music slowly and carefully until the right moment puts him on the desired spot.

Cuando el techno está en tu ADN no necesitas traducción adicional para entenderlo, este es el caso de Hugo Rolan, oriundo del norte de España, más precisamente de Asturias, ha estado expuesto al techno y los sonidos futuristas desde su adolescencia, y ahora en su madurez podemos afirmar que domina el lenguaje a la perfección.

Ha sido principalmente DJ durante dos décadas, permaneciendo bajo el radar en la escena underground local mientras desarrollaba un trabajo diario convencional. En su tiempo libre, ha estado aprendiendo habilidades de producción, profundizando en el software y hardware de creación musical, entrenando duro y en silencio hasta que ha sentido el momento de hacer público su trabajo.

La espera ha valido la pena y está a punto de publicar su primer trabajo en solitario en uno de los sellos techno más reconocidos del momento, Warm Up Recordings, gestionado por Oscar Mulero.

Un ejemplo de un verdadero amante del techno que vive en el mundo real, amando la música cuidadosamente hasta que el momento adecuado le ha colocado en el lugar que se merece por derecho.
