Black Criss es un DJ/Productor exponente del Tech House colombiano, siempre tiene un flujo constante de música en sellos locales y en su propio label Kore Music. Anualmente lanza un álbum con sonidos hacia la pista de baile llamado “Black Criss Is Tech House” es una colección de ideas en las cuales exhibe diversos estilos como el Techno, Tech House y Minimal.

En su más reciente estreno de la serie BCITH010 en KoreMusic, Black Criss nos remite al sabor y la esencia del pacífico colombiano. Este EP es una fiel muestra de sus raíces, en el que las sonoridades y los ritmos de esta exótica región, son los principales ingredientes de una creación musical única que, a través de armonías y vocales afro, nos permite experimentar alegría, movimiento e inmensa energía; Pasando de estados armoniosos a eufóricos, generando una mezcla de ritmos que conectan al oyente con el universo melódico del pacífico.

CHAMI face 2 face OPH is a musical project based on trust. After many years of exchanging music, sharing their love for vinyl and playing back to back in clubs or at home Chami and OPH felt it was time to try something new, another way to evolve musically together. That’s the ‘Face 2 Face’ project. Their main focus is to layer different grooves and textures using 2 mixers and 4 vinyl turntables to give a solid dynamic foundation, sometimes complementing each other, sometimes going in another direction and surprising each other. The music evolves during the set to switch between groovy moments and mental moments. This unique act definitely creates a memorable experience for the audience, as on top of the music experience it has a live stage feeling with full visibility and at the same time allowing direct contact with the dancefloor. The key point of this performance is to be facing each other and use eye contact to create a special energy based on their connection.

Very happy to share the recording of my live set at Stone Techno Festival last summer.  Summer was full of highlights and this show was definitely one of them, with such a great energy and crowd at the stage hosted by Fuse. 

Technology will never be able to recreate a vibe on a dancefloor (I hope), but those who were there that day know it was something very special.

from Thessaloniki, Greece. Influenced especially by the Detroit legacy his music can be described as a combination of powerful baselines, strong dynamics with fast grooves and catchy details.

Now he is focusing on his new live set, having his first show at Pattern Berlin & lately at HÖR, in which he presented his first synthetic approach. His live set is full of straight-forward outbreaks representing a futuristic point of view. Being a local artist, for more than 12 years, of executive underground projects in his city, he has shared the booth with some of the most talented international artists like Stef Mendesidis, Ben Klock, Jonas Kopp, Dax J, Paula Temple, SNTS just to name a few.

With strong and very successfull releases, his latest work on Mutual Rytm is a milestone to his career while he made a bigger step to the music scene and his music has gained massive and diverse support, from artists all over the world charting and playing his tracks very often. His future though seems bright while he has already signed new Eps in notable labels later this year. His passion of music is what makes him going up. For him music is a state of mind, interaction, inspiration & creation.
