The set came about quite spontaneously. A B2B during primetime at Silodom. We had both prepared our tracks well, which allowed us to flow through the set without saying much. The drops and breaks were spot on, the timing was right.

Musically, it was a mix of proper techno and driving rhythms, with lots of energy but still feeling. We played on 4 CDJs and an Allen & Heath mixer. Simple, direct, no frills. Because the vibe felt so right, we recorded the set again in the studio afterwards. We are two good friends with a similar feel for music, which we think was also evident in the set.

Every DJ writes an “important text” to frame their mix, so here’s mine: this set is an exploration of human error, caffeine shakes, and the futility of believing two records will ever perfectly align. You’ll find transitions that worked, transitions that didn’t, and a few that probably deserve a public apology.

But instead of deleting them, I uploaded the whole thing anyway. Because nothing about this is a portfolio piece. It’s a reminder that perfection is boring, mistakes have more character, and sometimes chaos sounds better than control. The decks fought back, the records slipped, and I let it all happen.

In short: the most authentic thing I could possibly upload, a document of stubborn obsession, human error, and the acceptance that none of it really matters… except that it does to me. By the way: I also made some visuals that capture my favorite moments in the set

Una Semana presenta un abanico de estados anímicos y creativos: mientras algunos días laten con más ritmo, otros se inclinan hacia la contemplación, y otros tantos cargan con el peso del deseo. Todos entrelazan influencias y estados de ánimo que evocan el techno, electro y ambient experimental. Ahora, años después de esas grabaciones, el artista argentino las revisita, y aunque el reencuentro aporta nuevas duraciones y perspectivas que podrían parecer de otra persona, en el fondo regresan al mismo ser, cerrando el ciclo de un momento solitario y transformador.
