Roladex nostalgically borrows ideas from music of the past to carefully craft a unique brand of futuristic-mechanized pop, with an emphasis on songwriting and layered production. Weaving sparse, sequenced arpeggios into fuzzy bass and bubbly melodies to create a bed of sound where they layout a somehow bright melancholia. Part minimal synth-wave, part dream pop. DAF's "Als wär's das letzte mal" is one of our favourite tracks ever. Just pure perfection from Robert and Gabi. We got approached by Contubernio Records that wanted to release a CD with Covers from different bands. 

And we decided to cover this great track. Funnily enough, we realised that the lyrics from this DAF classic are very similar (inspired) by a classic song by Spanish singer Sara Montiel (Bésame Mucho). We took both inspirations and created this cover that somehow brings something new.
