He began his musical journey at the age of 13, fascinated by the hip-hop beats and became a self thought musician. Cruxfader started with hip-hop then slowly went through many genres, like jazz, soul, funk, trip-hop, idm, edm, pop, trap and tried to incorporate them in his personal style. At first he was sampling old records, then he learned musical theory and how to play the keys. Later he made a passion for the bass guitar and discovered that the transition from the piano isn't that hard once you make the connections. 

In 2011 he started a Nu-Jazz project with Elisabeta and been playing together since. For the live performances, CUANTUNE presents an extended formula, the two founding members being joined on stage by other experimented musicians like Andreas Aron (bass guitar, doublebass), Harvis Cuni Padron (trumpet), Paolo Profeti (sax) and Bogdan Nicodim (piano/keyboards).

He produced, wrote songs and collaborated to other musicians like Amna, Marius Marin, Cristina Spatar, Skizzo Skillz, Elisa, Magnafonic and worked with record labels like Roton Music, RedClover, Fonogram and Magnafonic Records.

It’s quite hard to assimilate Cruxfader’s style to a solely musical genre. His sound has it's roots in the old school 90's and 00's hiphop, bringing it to  present times through a fusion of musical elements, borrowed from soul, funk, jazz, edm or trap, surprising the audience with it’s freshness.
