Krst Remixes is a double LP/Cdr release of Kajkyt (aka Slobodan Kajkut).

It represents eight different remakes of the Kajkyt's piece, Krst (critical acclaimed double vinyl appeared on God Records/Wire Globe Recordings/Chmafu Nocords), made by different artist such as Lustmord, James Plotkin (Old, Khanate, Scorn), KK Null (Zeni Geva, Terminal HZ), Lepenik (Fetish 69, The Striggles), Trajkoski (Anastasia, Mizar), Kauders (Code Inconnu, The Striggles), Opcion (aka Ab Hinc) and Podrum.

The release shows a large spectrum of mostly experimental electronica, such as downtempo, dub, noise and even some influences of krautrock and dark, weird vision of dubstep and represents all artist at the peak of their musical language.

Although this release is covered with eight musically total different remixes, it shows surprisingly level of homogeneity.

Limited double vinyl box (Lustmord, Plotkin, Null, Opcion) is out on God/Wire Globe Recordings and the double Cdr is out on Chmafu Nocords (all remixes included).

When we approached Walker & Royce to make an album in 2016, we knew the guys were pioneering a new sound and thought they would make a timeless album traversing genres and moods.   Needless to say, “Self Help” blew away our expectations, hitting #1 on multiple charts and leading them on a sold-out tour that’s still going a year later. 

It’s impossible to change perfection, but the album was still ripe for some new interpretations from some close Dirtybird family and friends.  John Tejada re-appears after his first appearance on DB003 in 2005 with his remix and dub of “My Own Thang”, taking a stripped back approach with punchy drums and tweaked synths. Justin Martin & Ardalan team up for their take on “Can You Pass That”, with new drums and dramatic risers. Justin Jay surprises everyone with his deeper SoCal version of “Take Me To Your Leader”. J.Phlip is back with her acid lover’s remix of “Rub A Dub” feat. Green Velvet. Walker & Royce deliver their own rework of “Role Models” for their sets, and up and coming producer Franklyn Watts beefs up the bass on “Love and Marriage.” 

Overall, this package is loaded with great versions of W&Rs “Self Help,” so do yourself a solid and help yourself.

the Chinese ladies use
  to stir robin's egg

    nimbus, or puff

of cloud-stuff, tipping her

This guest mix was inspired by a week-long trip in the North Sea accompanied by visits to remote coastal locations in Scotland. It pictures an undersea paradise - exotic coral reefs, dolphins playing - huge galaxies of water flooded with the screams of humpback whales - the vast underworld transformed into an elaborate oceanic collage combining new age synth and hazy ritual atmospheres.

The essence of the mix is to be found in the gentle percussive resonances, where the combination of beachside ambience and submerged sonics build into an evocation of the rhythms and movements of the sea - a slow, continually evolving seascape, its borders infinite and invisible.

'Fragments of Scattered Whispers' is the sixth album from Endless Melancholy, a solo-project of Oleksiy Sakevych from Kyiv, Ukraine. It follows previous releases on labels such as Preserved Sound, 1631 Recordings and Hidden Vibes.

Arriving on CD, digital and heavyweight vinyl editions, 'Fragments of Scattered Whispers' is a collection of soft piano melodies and transparent ambient textures, gently flowing one into another. On this album Endless Melancholy continues with the tape sound explorations, started on his previous album 'The Vacation', but in a new, more distinctive way. On this occasion, Oleksiy teamed up with Krzysztof Sujata (known for his musical outfit Valiska), who did some outstanding job on processing the tracks through different kinds of tape recorders and mastering them afterwards. Accompanied by a stunning artwork by an acclaimed artist Gregory Euclide, 'Fragments of Scattered Whispers' is meant to evoke hazy reminiscences from the deepest corners of listener's mind, like a blurry photograph suddenly falling out of an old book.
