The high voltage ‘Electricity’ kicks things off with the sensational voice of Anabel Englund leading the way. The deep, slow grooves ride effortlessly through the track with a breath-taking break down filled with electric bolts and melodic synth keys.

‘Goodnight Moon’ is the second on offer from Lee and Marc and boasts a heavy bass, beautiful synths patterns and infectious groove. The atmosphere in the track is filled with layers of intricate percussions and luscious melodies, while the interesting vocals make this really stand out from the rest.

Over on the B-side Lee takes the reins with ‘Could Be’, effortlessly swarming the mind with soaring synths, soft R n’B style vocals and lo-slung driving bass lines, while the trippy keys are destined to hypnotize you on the dancefloor.

Rounding off ‘B5 the Dinks’ is aimed straight at the dancefloor. Packed full of groove with an intoxicating bassline, the high-pitched warbling keys, vocals and crowd noises add a new dimension and make this a real party track. (Maouris)

Taking its lead from the distinct musical styles at Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel’s two venues – The Club and The Tower – The Unexpected Sessions Vol. 1 brings you cutting edge dance music from across the spectrum; the first disc packed with pure, uplifting party anthems while the second drops the BPMs for a deep excursion through the very finest house music around.

On CD1 you’ll find some of the biggest names in EDM dropping hit after uplifting hit, including Alesso’s ‘Crash’, Hard Rock Sofa & Swanky Tunes ‘Here We Go’ and the huge Iban Reus remix of Todd Terry’s seminal ‘Jumping’. Also included are Dirty South & Deniz Koyu ‘Halo’ and Michael Woods ‘Platinum Chains’; a suitably epic finale to a mix that starts big and doesn’t let up for the duration.

The pace is brought down on CD2, with uber-stylish deep house very much the name of the game. Manchester producer Mark Wells delivered an underground favourite when 'I Love You' debuted online last year. After over 40,000 plays at SoundCloud, radio play courtesy of Pete Tong and Radio 1 and further support across the European festival circuit from Ben Pearce, the track is set to reach its largest audience to date when the resurgent FFRR label will release it in May.

A deep house summer jam infused with sublime grooves and soulful vocals, 'I Love You' is sure to focus attention on Wells' prodigious talent and could well prove to be his major breakthrough.

Mark Wells first started work on his own productions as a teenager and now, at the age of 21, has already delivered breakthrough tracks for respected independent labels including Purp & Soul, Nurvous, Mother and Alive.

Low-swinging percussion and expertly placed vocal hooks are the hallmarks of his dancefloor-provoking productions such as 'In She Came' and 'Driven' Me' which ensure that his music stands out from the crowd. Wells' tracks have also featured on mix albums helmed by the likes of Ben Pearce, Endemic Digital label boss Wez Saunders and Ryan Briggs of City Soul Project.

His versatility can be demonstrated with remix work for the famous house institution Strictly Rhythm as well as UK bands Kid British and We Humans.
