The past two years have been some of the most challenging I’ve faced. Unable to share the music I love in spaces I’ve grown so fond of. Unable to move around and be with the humans that bring light and joy into my life. A turbulent time for all.  a time where we’ve all come out different, scarred, and some not at all. 

This selection of music is dear to me, songs that have sustained me, my love for sharing music and the profound feeling of realizing that everyone has a life as complex as one's own, which they are constantly living despite one's personal lack of awareness of it.

I suppose all I want to say is be nice, the world will be a better place if we just strive for this.

That they never expected to hear their mother tongue in tracks on a club system. And as pleased as I am to have served as a conduit, it's also a reminder of how rare this is. Siren 001: Daniel Weil

Daniel Weil learned to DJ at Le Baron, this tiny Parisian club where he held his first residency ever. After a decade of traveling from club booths to the festival stage later, eclectism has remained ever since as one of the main components of his music blends. Not only as a DJ but also while doing music supervision for clients such as Dior, being the music director for clubs like David Lynch’s Silencio or curating his label Motordiscs; Daniel’s life purpose is to select a soundtrack that will upgrade the reality.

Recording of my set at @baziquefestival 2023: Saturday 16.00 -18.00 on the @wolfkopweekender stage. Forest behind me, mountains in front. Magical staging and incredible atmosphere the whole day, even amongst the elements. Hope this captures some of the essence.

To be honest I’ve never expected a Festival like this. Sure.. people told me already about this place, there are tons of videos in the WWW, but you have to see this magical place to feel the true spirit.
Still buzzing from this week in the desert. Just one word: Wow!
It was a big adventure for me and I was totally overwhelmed about this outstanding crew. Mayan Warrior family is out of this world and I’m more than grateful for this experience. 1 week ago I heard the live recording for the first time and it does sound great with the people's reactions in the background. I had goosebumps and a lil' flashback. Those memories are gonna stick for a while!
