Meen Streets is a British-Australian artist based in Los Angeles. Reimagining the sounds of iconic acts like The Pet Shop Boys, George Michael and Robert Palmer, his songs unapologetically merge retro aesthetics with a dose of modern pop medicine. His lyrics are a brand of storytelling that veers between total emotional sincerity and shameless satire while covering a range of
observations on love, dreams, relationships, chivalry in the 21st Century and nightlife in the big city. Currently recording a full length album with producer, Jarvis Anderson, in their small Boyle Heights (DTLA) studio, the songs have also attracted the mixing talents of grammy-nominated engineer, Mark Needham (The Killers, Imagine Dragons, Bloc Party).
