Friends of Hannes is a German DJ and producer duo based in Munich and Berlin. Their music is inspired by different elements of techno, house and downtempo, resulting in an impulsive vibe with driving baselines, natural percussion and psychedelic rhythms. Friends of Hannes released their first EP "Cosmic Waves" in 2020, which was followed by different productions released on labels such as Kosa Records, Emerald & Doreen Records, Sujet Muisque and Magician on Duty. Peter & Max met during their studies in Munich and share the same love for electronic music. Now at their mid-twenties, they started their journey exploring progressive new melodies, fantasies of floating thumping basses, notes dancing through the nights. DeepSpace.

Friday 23.09.22 I was waking up - feeling like "shit" because of the cold weather my body was becoming sick , felt it everywhere ...
First thought : WHY TODAY !!!? 
My first Gig at Berlin - and MENSCHMEIER , what a honor to play for mystic creatures in this good known club , where people loosing themselves and finding them back , after dancing through days . 
So No EXCUSE ... I knew I had to play.... so I did :D

And even my body felt so weak before and my had was so slow. In the moment I started ... It was a dream and I danced with the people from 4.00 till 7.00 forgetting time and sickness for a moment of joy.
Thanks for this possibility - can't wait to see U again for a magical night and morning !

Treibend und rumpelnd, schlammig und funkelnd - versumpft mit uns krüglich und lauschet dem Sumpfophon. Eine Reise beginnt, die Krüge sprießen, Äuglein schließen, Öhrchen spitzen. Der Sumpf ist unruhig, Schallwellen treiben ihr Unwesen.

Das Live-TrActing zweier mutmaßlich gesuchten Soundfänger des Keta Popos nimmt seinen Lauf.

Tief im 'drop'ischen Regenwald des Amazounas hangeln hängende Wesen im Geäst des downbeat Dschungels. Bekannt durch ihre langsamen Bewegungen aufgrund ihres extrem niedrigen Klopfwechsels. Sie verlassen den Schutz der hohen Baumkronen lediglich alle paar Tage und dies nur um Tanzeinlagen abzusondern. Sie gehören zur Gattung der Foulteere, wobei einer von ihnen sich zwischenzeitlich auch Nachts als @CaterKarlos im technoiden Großstadtdschungel umhertreibt, während Jörg das Botticelli Baby mit Gitarrensounds in den Schlaf wiegt. 

Das erste Live-Set mit einer nahtlosen Aneinanderreihung eigener Produktionen in der Reihe der Sumphonie. 

Rotierend slow bewegen sie sich bald auch auf schwarzem Gold – getarnt als Remix mit auf der neuen Air Horse One EP!

Noch herrscht Unstimmigkeit im Kreise der Forschung ob es sich um Zweifinger- oder Dreifingerfoulteere handelt, doch sie verstehen ihr Handwerk und beklopfen ihre Gerätschaften als wären sie Tausendhändler.

Doch eine traurige Wahrheit ist, während wir diesen fruchtvollen Klängen lauschen, schwinden die Lebensräume der Faultiere weiter dahin. Lasst uns gemeinsam versuchen dem entgegenzuwirken.
