Neues Jahr, neue Farbe, neuer Sound? Na wir werden sehen..... 
Dieses Set ist auf jeden Fall nicht mehr so "downbeatverspielt" sondern etwas klarer,  minimaler, härter u trockener, bei ca. 115 bpm.
Erinnert so bissel an die gute, alte Minimal-Zeit. Hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht, wieder mal in diesen Bereich musikalisch einzutauchen.

Autumn is knocking on our door, bringing the cold with it. It does have it plus sides however. Shorter days mean longer nights, perfect for studio sessions and club nights, new music is coming out and Distant will be bringing its first full feature show to Amsterdam with the legend Ben Böhmer in December. All exciting stuff! But let's get lost first.

Distant Episode 35 / June 2020

This Distant episode I wanted to try something different. This time I wanted to express the concept of time. Lately it feels like time has slowed down, however, in reality, time is flying faster than ever. One day goes by and before you know it, an entire year has already passed. I tried to reproduce this in this month's episode with music that, for me, has a sense of hope, nostalgia or uncertainty. Let me know how it turned out and if you have noticed that same feeling! Nevertheless, enjoy.

I love all the hope and energy everyone brings into the new year. Even when things seem to get weider and weirder, it does not phase is. Music is what connects us, no matter where we are. It is what drives us and keeps us fighting for a better tomorrow. 

Fun fact: I started this episode at the end and worked my way forward. Just to change things up a little.
